Ring Shot.

SMILE :D :D :D

So excited to finally be getting the detail on the rings that I have been wanting.

Art Sale!

So here is the story. This picture was a self portrait that I took as a photography experiment. My sister liked it so much that she insisted I blow it up and frame it for her. Slightly awkward to have my face plastered on my sister's wall, but I did. Since then, nearly every person that walks into her house inquires of and admires the portrait. Several people had offered to purchase the portrait from her, but she was not willing to part with it. THEREFORE, I have decided to sell prints of this 11X13 photo in a 21X24 frame with several frame styles to choose from. The framed portrait will only cost $50 until I officially launch the sale of them. If you are interested you can contact me via facebook, email (retamiz@gmail.com) or call me at 417.761.1391.

The image on the left is the original image. The second image is an example of the framed portrait (please excuse the lighting).

The Douglas Family

We recently photographed the lovely Douglas family. Little did we know this shoot would also be a celebration of a new baby on the way! Little Aubrey will have a new friend! I suppose it was worth the romp in the woods even though it cost me in blood by the nasty tick that sank its jaws into me (unveiled the next morning might I add). All in the name of photography.

Isn't she stunning??

Well she couldn't be smiles the ENTIRE time. Sheesh.

In these next two Ashley is modeling one of my hair pieces. I have been making my own accessories. Many more to be revealed on the blog soon!

I adore this one :)
And two of my favorites of Jonathans...

The Beauty of Mother's Day

I have the most amazing mother in the world. I don't really know what to tell you all.. I know all of you "think" you have the most amazing mother in the world, but the truth of the matter is I really do (sorry to rain on your parade). You see.... my mother is an exceptional woman. She loves much, laughs often and gives without ceasing. There was a time that she (and even I) despaired at life, fearing the cancer that had claimed her body would also claim her soul. The doctors launched the countdown on her life. HOWEVER, today, she faces life cancer free. In victory, her zeal for life's ambitions, its simplicities and luxuries, remain unmatched. As I said, she loves much, laughs often and gives without ceasing. She has taught me to behold life as a precious gift and that our God will never leave us or forsake us. Those are some important tidbits. Thanks mom for being so wonderful. I am forever indebted to your love, wisdom and passion.

Oh by the way... she's not only amazing, she's beautiful too.

And one I snagged of Sara...

One Sara snagged of me... I must say her composition in this is quite nice.

Finally...

Finally got the opportunity to photograph my sister Rachael! Rachael is a tad camera shy and usually only allows me to photograph her four stunning children (yes, this is the mother of the beautiful ones you see plastered EVERYWHERE on my blog). The last time Rachael was photographed professionally was when she was a senior in high school! For her sake I will spare you the dates (aren't you proud of me Rach??!) but lets just say it was a long, long, long, long, long time ago. I think she photographs quite well, wouldn't you say? Don't forget to leave her some comment love!

And a few of her adorable new puppy Nala
